Ghislaine Nadège BEBOM "Like a meteor"
Ghislaine Nadège BEBOM, the former football player and sports consultant, was recently posthumously awarded the ABEBE BIKILA Prize at the Virtual Museum of the Great Builders of Contemporary Africa. It was during the show Mfandéna broadcast from Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 10:00 on Sky One radio, 104.5 FM in Yaoundé and presented by the one who contributed to its emergence in the media, Elie Thierry NDOH, a journalist of well-known sports on the Cameroonian media scene. As usual in this concept Mbolo Africa Space / Mbolo C @ meroon, we present the CV of the deceased and a summary of the testimony made during his sudden death on Sunday, June 9, 2019 due to illness. A big loss for the African continent.
Originally from the Nyamson village near Bafia, the capital of the Mbam and Inoubou department in the Central region of Cameroon, Ghislaine Nadège BEBOM, the daughter of the late Damien Bebom, has become by force of work, an adored sports consultant and very solicited by the Cameroonian media. It rarely happened a weekend without it being invited to intervene in any debate. Having it on the set was a privilege and guaranteed the success of the show. During her short life on earth she will have marked the spirits by her outspokenness, her verve, her dynamism, her vigor, her communicative warmth, her volubility, her open-mindedness, her moral integrity, her simplicity and especially her availability. All these qualities have earned him the esteem of the public and the recognition of certain organizations that have repeatedly awarded him prizes and honors. The many testimonies recorded after his departure from this land perfectly illustrate this esteem.
At the age of six, she began to flirt with football circles when her uncle Moungam Dagobert, a former Cameroonian football international and Yaounde sports gun player of the country's club's glory period, was born. took with him to watch the football matches. At 14, she was named captain of the Retirement College team, one of the established denominational institutions. Some time later, she is a sign in Fc Zurich, a civilian women's football club. She catches the eye of the late Atangana Louis de Gonzague, one of the forerunners of Cameroonian football and street football. Thanks to the latter, she will join the ranks of Canon girls. Overflowing with talent, she will win the titles of best player and golden shoe. She will join the National Institute of Youth and Sports to become a football coach. Upon leaving, she will go to practice in Equatorial Guinea where she was asked. She will spend a year there before returning to Cameroon. Disappointed by the environment, Cameroonian sportsman, she decided to change course and embraced the management of the sport. As a consultant and football analyst, she opened another avenue that allowed her to express her immense talent and immeasurable skill. Then came the series of prizes and awards in Cameroon and internationally. One of the biggest and most prestigious is certainly those won on January 1, 2018 in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. She brought back the excellence award for female leadership and the best sport project. She presented a project on 27 pages entitled "Viabilisation, feminization and professionalisation of Cameroonian football: Cameroonian special features with the environment". Unfortunately his early departure as a meteor of the planet earth will not see it implement this masterpiece.Ghislaine Nadège BEBOM had relationships both in the media and sports. She is the spiritual mother of Gabrielle Aboudi Onguéné, the current captain of the national team pennant of women's football. G N BEBOM died the day before the team was scheduled to play its first meeting of the 2019 World Cup in France against Canada.Ghislaine Nadège BEBOM, as you enter the Pantheon of African immortal sportsmen, we pray to the Lord to welcome you and give you the place you deserve.
